Liverpool are monitoring Manzambi with a view to a move next summer, The Sun reported on October 16th, citing Swiss insiders; TEAMtalk, relaying The Sun and 4-4-2, said Liverpool see him as a possible replacement should Alexis Mac Allister leave in 2027, and that they will watch him through the season rather than act in January. No bid or approach has been reported. Goal (October 19th) added unattributed claims that Barcelona and Bayern Munich admire him, and reported that Manzambi intends to stay and develop under Unai Emery. He joined from Freiburg in July for around €60m on a contract to June 2031.
